Who can work with ONIMA?
We work with independent artists, labels, creators and rights holders. Share your music or catalog and the services you need so our team can assess the right partnership.
Is ONIMA only a music distributor?
Distribution is one part of the ecosystem. ONIMA also offers publishing administration, rights management, YouTube and UGC support, marketing, creative coordination and catalog technology. The scope is agreed for each partnership.
Why do CMS linking and Content ID asset management matter for music channels?
A music channel is only one part of your catalog. Your music videos and sound recordings also need accurate assets, metadata, ownership and policies. For eligible channels, linking to ONIMA’s YouTube Content Manager helps us coordinate channel operations with the rights we administer.
Content ID uses eligible reference files associated with your assets to identify your music in other uploads and apply the appropriate monetization, tracking or blocking policy. Channel linking and Content ID enrollment are separate steps; we review channel eligibility and the exclusive rights you control before setting up the right approach for your catalog.
Is AdSense alone enough to monetize my music across YouTube?
AdSense handles payments for your channel earnings. By itself, it does not register your Sound Recording assets, deliver your catalog to YouTube Music as Art Tracks, or enroll your eligible recordings in Content ID. If these services are not set up separately, you may be missing additional revenue opportunities from your recordings, Art Tracks and uses of your music in other creators’ videos.
With the appropriate rights and eligible references, Content ID can identify matching user-generated content (UGC), track its use and apply a monetization policy. ONIMA reviews your catalog, asset setup and existing distribution arrangements to identify gaps and coordinate the services you need. Revenue depends on actual usage, eligibility and the rights you control.
Can I move an existing catalog to ONIMA?
Yes, we can discuss a catalog transfer. Our team reviews your current delivery setup, identifiers, metadata and rights information before coordinating a migration. Timing depends on your existing agreements and platform requirements.
Will I lose my streams when transferring to ONIMA?
We coordinate your catalog transfer using your existing ISRCs and matching audio and metadata to help preserve stream counts and playlist placements. Your music’s history stays connected wherever platforms support release matching.
Do I keep ownership of my music?
Ownership and the rights ONIMA administers are defined in your agreement. Distribution, master rights and publishing rights are different. We explain the proposed scope, territories and term before you commit.
Can you guarantee playlist placement or streams?
No. Editorial placement and audience response are not guaranteed. We help with release preparation, pitching and marketing strategy; platforms make their own editorial decisions.
How do pricing, royalties and reporting work?
Commercial terms depend on the services, catalog and partnership scope. Your agreement sets out the revenue split or fees, reporting and payment terms. Contact the team for a proposal based on your situation.
Can I track my YouTube and Spotify revenue daily?
Yes. ONIMA partners can view estimated YouTube and Spotify revenue with daily updates inside ONIMA Portal. Daily figures are estimates; finalized amounts are shown in your monthly reports.
When are monthly reports released and payments processed?
Monthly reports are available on the 10th of each month. Payments are processed on the 27th of each month.
How do I get access to ONIMA Portal?
The portal is for ONIMA partners with an active account. Existing partners can use Partner login. If you are joining ONIMA, the team will guide you through onboarding and explain the tools available for your account.
